Job Summary
The University of Kentucky BioMotion Laboratory is seeking a Physical Therapist who is passionate about sports medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, and helping athletes and active individuals return to high-level function after injury.
This is not a typical outpatient physical therapy position. The physical therapist will work in a modern, research-centered clinical environment with no insurance billing, providing high-quality rehabilitation for patients recovering after ACL reconstruction and other lower extremity sports and traumatic injuries. Treatment is guided by objective strength and functional testing, criterion-based progression, and return-to-sport decision-making.
The position is ideal for a physical therapist who wants to grow as a clinician, become more involved in clinical research, and work as part of a supportive academic team. The role includes competitive pay and benefits, training in research procedures, and opportunities, if desired, to contribute to innovative rehabilitation studies and present research at national meetings.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?: No
Preferred Education/Experience
CSCS, previous sports experience
