The PantherDining Hall at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Store Clerk I.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, unloading,
recording, and stocking items received. Performs clerical duties such as filing purchase orders and other inventory documents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Identifies inventoried items with appropriate labeling techniques, decals, or
UPC bar codes. - Assists in setting up pre-inventory sheets.
- Prepares requisitions or other documents for purchasing new
stock items. - Follows FIFO inventory method and set guidelines established by the department.
- Reconciles all discrepancies
immediately with management team. Forwards all product paperwork to administrative team. - Pulls, stages, delivers, and completes
transfer paperwork to various campus locations. - Assists with unloading of product at each location.
- Responds quickly and
accurately to all product inquiries by food service personnel. - Counts inventory in stock and posts to inventory
record. - Checks inventory levels to ensure required product is in stock for both regular business and pandemic planning
requirements. - Completes receiving report as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED. A valid Georgia driver’s license is required.
Preferred
Requirements:
- Previous Store Clerk experience.
- Physical Requirements: Extended standing, walking, ability to
bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders. - Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in all temperature conditions.
- Flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
