Job Summary
The Food Pantry Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and
operation of the food pantry program. This position ensures compliance with organizational policies, food safety standards, and applicable
regulations, while delivering high-quality service to Schoolcraft students experiencing food insecurity. This position will oversee
inventory control, volunteer engagement, and work with the Hinkle Student Resources team to conduct outreach initiatives to support program
sustainability.
Please note: This is a grant-funded position with a three (3) year term.

Required
Qualifications
- Associate degree (or higher) in business, social services, food services, or a related field.
- At
least one (1) year of experience working in nonprofit, grant processing, social services, or food distribution. - ServSafe for Food
Pantries Certification (or willingness to secure within 90 days of hire). - Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal
skills. - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a physically active environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, social
services, food services, or a related field. - Experience working in a Food Pantry environment.
- Experience working with
grant funding. - Experience coordinating volunteers.
