Job Summary
Kutztown University Health & Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate,
self-directed, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. Our nurses provide protocol-driven standards of care to a diverse
student population focusing on physical and mental health promotion, maintenance, and restoration. This is a unique opportunity to practice
nursing in an ambulatory care setting on a university campus and enjoy summers off!

Key Responsibilities
- Assess students and provide treatment in accordance with approved
protocols and standards of care and make any necessary referrals - Administer medications, TB skin testing, and immunizations; collect
and process specimens; perform point-of-care testing - Educate students and guide them to make informed decisions about their
health - Document accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians,
and advanced practice providers
Compensation Package: $46,740.00 (9 months), plus comprehensive benefits,
including:
- Monday-Friday dayshift, 9-month position-No weekends, nights, or holidays, and summers off!

Minimum
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania registered nurse license
- BLS certified: Must have current
certification from American Heart Association prior to starting - 3 or more years of recent professional nursing experience in a
college health, ambulatory care, acute care or school nursing - Skills: Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills,
attention to detail, and computer proficiency as demonstrated in the cover letter, resume, and application
materials
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
degree - Experience in a college health center
- Experience with reproductive health care
- Experience with
adolescent/young adult population - Phlebotomy skills
- Experience with specimen collection and handling
- Ability to
perform TB skin testing

The starting salary for this position is $46,740.00 for 9 months, based on the OPEIU
Collective Bargaining Agreement.
