Job Summary

The Assistant Textbook Manager
supports the daily operations of the course materials department by managing textbook adoption data, maintaining accurate item records in
NetSuite, and assisting with inventory planning and faculty communication. This position plays a key role in ensuring course materials are
available, affordable, and delivered on time for students and faculty.

Authority and Accountability

Reports to
the Course Material Manager

In the absence of the manager, supervises part-time cashier staff

Required/Minimum
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years in a campus store /retail experience
  • Ability to operate
    computerized ERP system; strong organizational skills; MS
  • Office with a high skill level in Microsoft Excel; and VitalSource Digital
    Learning Platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in business or related field
  • Knowledge
    of the acquisition and pricing structures of course materials.
  • Skilled at operation of a computerized NetSuite POS/ERP system and
    MS Office
  • Ability to organize, track, verify, procure and provide reports on course materials.

Information:

The position is a full-time, non-exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.
