Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage a solution-oriented ticket operations department that advances revenue generation objectives.

Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and implement the overall ticketing, sales, and service strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction in conjunction with the expectations of the University.

Main point of contact for all matters related to ticketing partners, including primary and other distribution partners.

Support the sales team with their outbound sales efforts.

Proactively monitor ticketing industry best practices to ensure the department is at the forefront of ticketing.

Analyze historical and current sales data and performance metrics to determine future sales campaigns and new lead sources for the ticket sales and service teams.

Foster a strong, collaborative, cohesive culture across units and the overall team.

In coordination with the Bulls Club and marketing department, develop and implement annual fund solicitation and touchpoint campaigns.

Participate in planning meetings to discuss organizational revenue opportunities and collaborate with other stakeholders to support and further the department’s goals.

Assist in the creation and management of a budget and business plan.

Responsible for daily revenue tracking of ticket sales and renewals across all sports to leadership and other key stakeholders.

Other duties/assignments as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree

5 Years of experience in ticket operations

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate (https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2023/1310) is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
  • SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
  • A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:
  • (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
  • (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
  • (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
  • (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
  • (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
  • Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
  • Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.

3 years of management experience preferred

Personal and professional communication skills to interface with all levels of a company, both internally and externally

Ability to strategize towards achieving big-picture initiatives while possessing the necessary attention to detail to ensure high-level execution each step of the way.

Understanding and fluency in data and analytics

Motivated self-starter with exceptional organization, strategic thinking, and personal leadership skills.

Exceptional organizational skills

Strong problem-solving skills and general creativity

Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
