Responsible
for the operations at the Cabrini Campus. This includes but is not limited to: financial reporting, ordering, personnel management,
sanitation, marketing, merchandising, product mix, vendors relations, and conducting inventory. Assists the General Manager in meeting and
or/exceeding financial targets.

Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
People Operations
– Leads all aspects of team management for (Cabrini locations) which includes hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, performance
coaching, payroll oversight, and annual evaluations, while fostering a respectful, service-oriented, and collaborative work environment.
This position supports daily operations, ensures adherence to schedules, coordinates development with the Training Manager, and maintains
open, transparent communication through regular meetings with staff.
Food Safety and Sanitation – Supervises food
preparation and production, ensuring accurate production sheets, temperature logs, and adherence to all food safety and sanitation
guidelines. Conducts routine inspections to uphold Board of Health standards and enforces daily, weekly and monthly sanitation procedures.
Models accountability and trust by maintaining rigorous compliance and encouraging staff to uphold safety expectations. Supports respectful
feedback and continuous improvement to build a safe dining environment.
Ordering and Inventory Management- Ensures
proper ordering procedures with all vendors, maintains appropriate inventory levels, and updates Cbord order books with accurate par levels.
Conducts routine ordering inventories and compiles comprehensive monthly inventory reports. Utilizes problem-solving skills to adjust
inventory strategies, seeks feedback on operational approaches, and collaborates with colleagues to improve
processes.
Product Mix & Analysis – Ensures an appealing and relevant product mix by actively gathering feedback
from students and staff, monitoring industry trends, and benchmarking against local markets. Participates in Retail Operations committee
meetings to collaborate cross-functionally and share insights. Oversees the Micros menu management and product pricing, and runs daily and
monthly product reports to compare sales against purchases. Uses data-informed decision-making and openness to change to refine offerings
and strengthen customer satisfaction.
Financial Management – Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of
all invoices, C-Bords requisitions and daily revenue reports. Ensures financial stewardship by managing resources responsibly, promoting
transparency in all reporting activities, and working proactively to exceed financial targets.
Marketing and Merchandising
– Works on marketing initiatives, special promotions, and advertising for Cabrini locations in partnership with Area Manager and
the experience team. Ensures that all retail spaces are effectively merchandised, visually appealing, and reflective of university
values.
NONESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Monitors and ensures that all equipment and records are maintained in
the unit. Monitors preventative maintenance contracts on equipment and pest elimination. Arranges for outside contractors for equipment
maintenance and repairs. Coordinates maintenance and custodial issues.
Perform additional duties and assists with special projects as
assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Formal Education:
- High school diploma with 4 years
of experience in food service fields. 2 or 4 year degree preferred. - Current ServSafe Certification
preferred
Specific Job Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of food service safety and sanitation
experience
Minimum Work Experience:
- Must have at least one-year basic food service
experience
Work Skills:
- Demonstrates basic reading and writing proficiency needed to complete daily
tasks. - Maintains excellent personal hygiene and consistently adheres to established uniform and appearance standards.
- Follows instructions accurately and completes assigned responsibilities in a timely and dependable manner.
- Communicates clearly
and appropriately with team members, customers and supervisors. - Works independently with minimal supervision while maintaining
accountability for quality and accuracy. - Interacts effectively and respectfully with others in a dynamic, customer-facing
environment.
Equipment Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of operating kitchen equipment and their
functions. - Ability to set-up, operate, break down, and clean.
- Must possess the ability to properly use knives, slicer,
soft serve machine, and pizza ovens
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or 4 year degree preferred.
- Current ServSafe Certification preferred

Salary
Posting Information
This position falls within salaried grade 14 and the range is $57,200-71,500. The final salary will be
determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s qualifications, department budget availability, market
data, and internal equity.
