Position Summary

This non-student hourly role will assist with coaching and training of sales competition teams and may travel with teams as needed.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assist with coaching and training of sales competition teams
  • May be required to travel with sales competition teams as needed
  • Assist the Director and/or Coordinator for the Kendall Center for Sales Excellence as needed
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Decision Making

  • Assist in selection of competition team members
  • Decisions as to activities or functions related to team travel
  • Decisions regarding student conduct during travel
  • Normal day-to-day decision during travel

SupervisionConditions of Employment

  • Travel with sales competition team students as needed; may require overnights and some weekends depending on competition dates/locations
  • Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)
  • Motor Vehicle Record Check (with valid driver’s license)
  • The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; Marketing Department will not sponsor a visa for this position now nor in the future.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience with a sales center/student sales competitions
  • Must be at least 25 years of age for travel and rental car requirements
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate multi-passenger vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Kendall Center for Sales Excellence and CSU’s College of Business Marketing Department operations
  • Previous experience working with students in sales competition setting
  • Previous sales or sales training experience

Salary Range
