Description
We are seeking friendly, reliable Cafe Staff to join our team. Our cafe is part of an initiative to create
inclusive employment opportunities and provide supportive, hands-on job training for individuals entering the workforce, including those
with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is customer focused, works well in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in
providing high quality food, beverages, and service. Cafe Staff are responsible for creating a welcoming experience for every guest while
maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Greet customers and take food and beverage
orders accurately
– Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages
– Prepare simple food items following cafe
recipes and standards
– Operate the point of sale system and handle transactions accurately
– Maintain cleanliness of the cafe,
including counters, equipment, dining area, and restrooms
– Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
– Follow
health, safety, and food handling regulations
– Address customer questions, requests, or concerns professionally
– Work
collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Shift
Part-time 10 – 25 hours per
week
Business hours:
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is
necessary.

– Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up
to 20 lbs
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $18.00 – $22.00 hourly
