ASIFA-Hollywood Announces New Online Membership

ASIFA-Hollywood has shared that they’ve created a new online membership that provides virtual membership benefits for people living outside of Southern California, including access to the Annie Awards voter application, “For Your Consideration” online award screeners, and weekly membership e-newsletters. This new level of membership does not include regular in-person events but if visiting Southern California, online members will be welcome.

“We hope this new membership strengthens those connections and expands opportunities for participation worldwide,” said Sue Shakespeare, ASIFA-Hollywood president. “We’ve heard from many of our international members that geographic barriers have made it difficult to attend our events. In response, we’ve introduced this new online membership tier to ensure they can remain actively engaged with everything ASIFA-Hollywood offers.”

The announcement noted that the ASIFA-Hollywood Board of Directors believes “it is essential that the global animation community feels connected and included, regardless of location.” You can review the new ASIFA-Hollywood online membership or other levels of membership here.
