Job Description
The Hospital Relations Manager is a key member of the Physician Assistant (PA) Programs administrative team. The Hospital Relations Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, health systems, community health organizations, and free clinics to support clinical education for the Physician Assistant (PA) Program. This position serves as a key liaison between the PA program and the healthcare community, utilizing professional networks to create, expand, and sustain clinical training opportunities for students.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or a related field. Experience working within healthcare systems, hospital administration, clinical operations, or healthcare community outreach. Strong professional networking and relationship-building skills within the healthcare community. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with medical education programs, clinical training programs, or academic health institutions. Knowledge of physician assistant education and clinical rotation requirements. Existing relationships within regional hospitals, health systems, EMS agencies, and community health organizations.

Job Duties
- . Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with hospitals, health systems, private practices, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), community health organizations, and free clinics
- . Utilize professional networks within the healthcare community to identify and create new clinical training opportunities for PA students
- . Serve as the primary liaison between the PA program and clinical partners to promote the program and strengthen long-term partnerships
- . Represent the PA program at healthcare community meetings, hospital education committees, and professional networking events when appropriate
- . Identify, recruit, and assist in onboarding new clinical sites and preceptors to support the PA program s supervised clinical practice experiences
- . Work collaboratively with the clinical education team to ensure sufficient clinical placement capacity across required and elective rotations
- . Assist with maintaining communication with clinical partners to ensure positive experiences for both students and preceptors
- . Support the development of new clinical training partnerships that align with program goals and accreditation standards
- . Coordinate EMS ride-along experiences for students during the didactic phase to enhance early exposure to emergency medical systems and prehospital care
- . Develop and coordinate free clinic and community health clinical opportunities for students to gain supervised patient-care experience prior to the clinical phase
- . Work with faculty to ensure early clinical experiences align with course objectives and student readiness
- . Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Education and program leadership to support strategic planning for clinical education capacity
- . Assist with maintaining records of clinical partnerships, site contacts, and agreements as needed
- . Work closely with clinical education staff to ensure smooth coordination between site development and student placement processes
- . Provide regular updates to program leadership regarding clinical site development and partnership status
