Salary/Pay
Range: $ 49,303 – $66,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.This position is
Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Summary
The Community Training and Empowerment Division of the Institute focuses on
education, training, and program development to promote community level strength and resilience. Currently, the CTE division runs: 1) Peer
Support programming for many organizations across the state, 2) the GRIT community training program, 3) resilience workshops/training, and
4) trauma course sequence (101-102)
Essential Functions
The duties and responsibilities of the
position include, but are not limited to:
- Consult, develop, implement, and support expansion of the GRIT program. based on
requirements from the County funding.- Provide in-person and virtual trainings on GRIT curriculum and program.
- Coordinate
ongoing tracking, communication, and connection with GRIT Coaches. - Collaborate with institute partners on joint projects involving
the GRIT program.
- Consult, develop, implement community trainings and workshops covering topics including, but not limited
to, peer support, stress, trauma, resilience, team building, and interpersonal skills. - Work with interested organizations to develop
and deliver custom trauma/stress/resilience focused trainings and workshops. - Provide support for current Peer Support program
participants. - Deliver Peer Support Initial Certification curriculum training developed by the Lyda Hill Institute to program
participants as well as necessary on-going/follow-up training. - Provide clinical support consulting to trained Peer
Supporters. - Serve as a liaison between the Lyda Hill Institute and the contracted agencies utilizing its Peer Support
Program. - Reach out to new organizations that might be interested in peer support to potentially generate new
contracts. - Assist, as time permits, in other projects that the LHIHR is involved in.

Qualifications
- Must have a Master’s degree in clinical psychology, Counseling, or other
behavioral health fields OR Substitution (Bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, Counseling, or other behavioral health fields AND two
years post-graduate experience in the mental health field.) - Must have experience developing and providing training on psychological
topics. - Experience working in a team environment is required.
- Experience with Program Development is required.
- Must
have experience in providing team building and organizational performance trainings. - Experience with community disaster related
issues including providing community support, with common psychological difficulties (i.e., substance abuse and dependence, suicide risks,
depression, and anxiety) and stress/trauma specific challenges (including family violence, anger issues, and work- related stress) is
required.
