Job Description:
Follow instructions and established procedures
to perform helper duties for cooks.
Education and Experience:
The ability to read, write, do simple math,
use calculator, food thermometer and follow directions is necessary.
Skills and Knowledge:

Responsibilities:
- Pan variety of simple meats, prepare simple casseroles,
convenience foods, open cans, frozen foods. - Assist on serving lines as needed.
- Slice deli meats.
- Take food to
serving lines and replenish as needed. - Store and date food items.
- Fill out appropriate paper work for computerized Food
Service production system (CSI) including service records and food production sheets. - Proper storage of
food items, cold vs. hot, raw vs. cooked. - Grill hamburgers, cheese sandwiches, etc.
- Observe safety and health regulations
and maintain highest standards of sanitation.
