As a member
of the Dining Services Department, the individual will work in any of the following positions: front of the house- food
production/serving/cashier/barista and back of the house food production.

Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:
- Set-up, maintain, and break down all service lines. Ability to prepare and/or cook food for cold production and
for pizza/grill lines. Stock, rotate and replenish merchandise as needed. Back of the house production includes salad and fruit bars, deli
prep, desserts, and commissary items. - May work on any of the following stations serving our customers:
sandwich/salad/pizza/grill/Holy Grounds areas/register stations. - Serves customers in an efficient and courteous manner in
accordance with our mission. Responsible for serving the proper proportions and following all safety and sanitation practices. Is familiar
with all menu items and recipes following our standards. - Cleans and sanitizes food equipment and dining room tables and
chairs.
NONESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Works special events/weekends as required.
- Assists in the
dish room area if needed including sweeping, mopping, disposing of trash/recycling. - Perform additional job duties as directed by
supervisor or manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Work Skills:
- Basic reading and
writing skills; basic communication skills. - Excellent customer service skills.
- Practices excellent personal hygiene habits
and follows and adheres to uniform standards. - Ability to: follow directions and complete assigned tasks, work with minimal
supervision, and to interact with people on a constant basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Formal
Education:
- Preferred – High school diploma or equivalent.
Specific Job Knowledge:
- Preferred – Basic knowledge of food service safety and sanitation.
- Preferred – Serv Safe Training and Allergy Awareness
Training.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
Tools, Machinery, and Equipment
Used:
- Knives, slicers, and all kitchen equipment.
Environmental Conditions:
- Chemicals
used for cleaning. - Weather exposure for special events.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand
for extended periods. - Ability to lift, push/pull up to 10 pounds independently and up to 40 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures.

Salary Posting Information
$17.50 per hour. Shift
differential for qualifying shifts.
