Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad has started the recruitment process for 12 non-teaching posts across administrative and technical departments. The institute has invited online applications from eligible candidtaes through Recruitment Advertisement No. IITDh/Admin/SR/46/2026-27 dated June 11, 2026.According to the notification, vacancies are available for Assistant Registrar, Junior Superintendent, Junior Assistant and Junior Technical Superintendent posts in various disciplines. The last date to submit online applications is July 13, 2026, up to 11:59 pm.The recruitment drive includes two posts of Assistant Registrar in Pay Level 10, three posts of Junior Superintendent in Pay Level 6 and two posts of Junior Assistant in Pay Level 3. Technical vacancies include one post each of Junior Technical Superintendent in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), CCS, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and BSBE, all in Pay Level 6.For Assistant Registrar, candidates must possess a master’s degree with at least 55 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA along with the required work experience. The upper age limit for the post is 42 years.The upper age limit is 34 years for Junior Superintendent and Junior Technical Superintendent posts, while candidates applying for Junior Assistant should not be more than 27 years old.Candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Women applicants, SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Ex-servicemen and regular IIT Dharwad employees are exempted from paying the fee.For Level 6 posts, the selection process may include Written Test I and Written Test II. For the Assistant Registrar post in Level 10, shortlisted candidates may have to undergo a written assessment followed by an interview.
