MET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result today after 8 PM; cutoff to be released

MET Round 2 result 2026: The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will announce the MET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result today. Candidates who participated in the counselling process will be able to access their allotment status through the official counselling portal after 8 PM.The seat allotment result will be published online at counseling.manipal.edu. Candidates will have to log in using their application number and password to view their allotment details. MAHE has confirmed that no other mode will be used to release the result.Seat allotment based on rank and preferencesThe allotment process is being conducted on the basis of candidates’ merit ranks, course and campus preferences, and the availability of seats. Alongside the Round 2 allotment result, the authorities will also publish the MET 2026 Round 2 cutoff.The cutoff will indicate the ranks required for admission to various BTech programmes offered across Manipal campuses. Candidates meeting the prescribed cutoff requirements will be eligible for consideration during the admission process.Admission confirmation and fee payment scheduleCandidates allotted seats in Round 2 will have to confirm their admission by completing the required fee payment within the stipulated period. As per the schedule, the first instalment of course fees can be paid from June 20, 2026, to June 25, 2026.The first instalment amount has been fixed at INR 2,90,000. The second instalment of tuition fees will be payable on June 30, 2026, with the amount varying according to the selected programme.Steps to check allotment statusTo access the allotment result, candidates need to visit counseling.manipal.edu and select the BTech course section. After logging in with their application form number and password, they will be able to view their allotment status. Candidates seeking to retain their allotted seats must complete the first fee payment before the prescribed deadline.Counselling eligibility and registration detailsFor participation in MET 2026 counselling, candidates must possess a valid MET rank. Eligibility requirements include passing 10+2, A-Level, International Baccalaureate, American High School Diploma, or an equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.Candidates are required to secure a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent in Physics, Mathematics and one optional subject combined, along with the minimum pass marks prescribed by their respective boards. Fresh registrations remain open for every counselling round. Candidates were also permitted to register using JEE Main scores for admission consideration. Merit ranks are prepared by giving equal 50:50 weightage to Class 12 marks and MET scores.
