Job Summary
- Maintains accurate inventory levels and ensures the smooth operation of inventory management within the
organization. - Tracks and records inventory, counts inventory for weekly and monthly audits, maintains bins and storage areas,
creates reports for production and culinary staff to utilize, performs routine audits, and ensures adherence to quality
standards. - Ensures the accuracy and upkeep of inventory records.
- Tracks and manages incoming and outgoing stock
deliveries. - Coordinates with the production manager and culinary team to replenish inventory in a timely manner.
- Assists in
inventory audits and reports discrepancies to the Inventory Manager. - Maintains optimum inventory levels to prevent shortages and
excesses. - Validates and maintains accurate data in inventory management software.
- Works with location production manager and
culinary team on providing accurate information regarding product usage. - Enters actuals (how many portions of menu items were
served) into service menus to assist in accurate order forecasting.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
- General knowledge at the high school level
Preferred
- Pursuing a degree in management or hospitality
SKILLS
Required
- Good
organizational skills - Ability to exchange information
Working Conditions / Demands
This position
requires tasks typically associated with office work. It involves periods of both sedentary work and times of movement about the workspace.
The person in this role must be able to move supplies between 10 to 20 pounds. This position also requires depth perception. The person in
this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This role requires the ability to commit
to the position for 1 year.
