Position Summary

Northeastern State University (NSU)
invites applications for a full-time Instructor of Management within the College of Business and Technology. This position is a
teaching-focused faculty role responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in management and related business disciplines, supporting
student success, and contributing to departmental and college service.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to
excellence in teaching, student engagement, and alignment with the mission and strategic priorities of the College, including support
of AACSB accreditation standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching and
Instruction (Primary Responsibility)

Teach undergraduate courses in management and related business disciplines
Deliver
instruction across modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats
Develop and maintain course syllabi, learning outcomes,
and instructional materials consistent with program and accreditation standards
Teach courses assigned in support of international
partnership (i.e., China)
Assess student learning outcomes and participate in continuous improvement processes

Student
Engagement and Support

Advise and mentor students regarding academic progress and career development
Maintain
accessibility to students through office hours and timely communication
Support student recruitment, retention, and experiential learning
initiatives

Service and Institutional Engagement

Participate in departmental, college, and university
committees as assigned
Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation activities
Support College of
Business and Technology initiatives, including community and industry engagement
Maintain currency in the discipline through ongoing
professional development
Engage in activities that support instructional effectiveness and applied knowledge

Minimum
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited
institution
Demonstrated potential for effective teaching at the collegiate level
Strong communication, organizational, and
interpersonal skills
Relevant professional or industry experience in management or business leadership
Experience teaching in multiple
delivery formats, including online and hybrid modalities
Experience with learning management systems (i.e., Blackboard)
Demonstrated
ability to engage diverse student populations, including international cohorts

Work Environment

Primary
assignment at the Tahlequah campus
May include teaching at additional NSU locations (e.g., Broken Arrow) or
international partner sites
Standard faculty workload with primary emphasis on teaching and service
