Job Description
This position includes
food preparation, service, and/or sanitation tasks. Prepare food by reading and following recipes according to instructions. Follow proper
food handling techniques. Assist in completing the Serving Line Worksheets. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Set
up service/preparation areas as assigned. Provide high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department’s customer service
objectives. Direct, help train, and assist student employees in food preparation and service. Clean and replenish the service/preparation
areas, dining room, and dishwashing/pot-and-pan areas during and after service. Complete required training. Help the department constantly
improve and reach its vision. Perform other duties as assigned.

Monday-Friday
9am-5:30pm
Minimum Qualifications
A job offer for this position is contingent on passing a physical
examination to determine if the candidate possesses the physical capabilities necessary to perform the essential functions.
- Ability
to read, write, and perform basic math. - Six months experience in the preparation and service of food in an institutional or
commercial food service facility. - Knowledge of basic food preparation, including basic knife skills, and service and sanitation
methods. - Ability to handle and lift heavy kitchen utensils and supplies (e.g. 40 pounds)
- Good physical health.
- Customer service and supervisory experience with a desire to provide high-quality customer service is strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $17.00 – $20.00 hourly
