The Ticket
Sales Account Representative is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing ticket sales for Villanova Athletics ticketed sports
(Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Men’s Lacrosse) with an emphasis on season tickets, premium experiences, group tickets,
and single-game tickets.
This position is an integral part of our revenue-generating efforts by developing strong account
relationships through scheduled and strategic touchpoints, identifying opportunities to up-sell/cross-sell to our current client base, and
contacting leads for new ticket sales through outbound sales efforts.
All duties must be performed in accordance with University,
Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
Renewals/New Ticket Sales Efforts
- Renews current
full and partial season ticket buyers through phone and e-mail communication. - Provides excellent customer service to existing
ticket account holders. - Maintains a daily/weekly outbound call volume for new ticket sales efforts.
- Creatively prospects
for new business opportunities that will grow Villanova’s season ticket and group client base. - Attain individual and departmental
sales goals set by management.
Attend Games and Promotional Events
- Works select home Football, Men’s
Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Men’s Lacrosse home games to facilitate group experiences and/or promote upcoming games/ticket
packages. - Represents Villanova Athletics at networking, promotional, and community events with the purpose of growing contact leads
for ticket sales purposes.
Other
- Perform other duties and assist with projects as
assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Formal Education
- Bachelor’s degree is required,
preferably in marketing, sales, sports management, or a related field.
Work Experience
- A minimum of two
(2) years of sales experiences – preferably in professional/college sports, specifically related to season ticket sales, group sales,
premium sales, or customer service/retention. - Experience managing multiple concurrent projects from concept through
facilitation.
Work Skills (e.g., written and verbal communication skills)
- Excellent communication and
presentation skills. - Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with staff and campus partners.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in support of Athletics
events - Professional and detail oriented.
Specific Job Knowledge
- Familiarity with NCAA, BIG EAST,
Patriot League, CAA, and MAAC conference rules and University policies.
Equipment Knowledge
- Knowledge of
ticketing software programs such as Paciolan.
Other
- Interest in and knowledge of Villanova and its
athletic programs.

Salary Posting Information
This position falls within salaried grade 13 and the range is $51,000-63,800. The
final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s qualifications, department budget
availability, market data, and internal equity.
