General Summary
The Wrangler Market Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the Wrangler Market, including retail, food service, and customer experience. This leadership role ensures efficient operations, strong financial performance, and a high-quality, engaging environment for the campus community.
Specific Position Duties
- Lead and manage daily Market operations, including retail and food service areas
- Supervise, train, and schedule Market staff
- Oversee inventory management, including tracking, ordering, and stock control
- Manage buying and purchasing for retail items, textbooks, and food products
- Develop product mix and merchandising strategies to maximize sales
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and college policies
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyze sales performance
- Collaborate with Wrangler Kitchen and Wrangler Outfitters for cohesive operations
- Maintain high standards of customer service and staff accountability
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality management
Valid Food Handler Certification (required)
Proven experience in inventory control, purchasing, and vendor management
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment
Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Hours: The Wrangler Market will be open from 7am to 7pm with Saturdays 8am to 1pm
